Wireless Home Alarms to Keep You Safe

Although the police is always a 911-call away, sometimes the mere act of calling can be impossible. Ensure the safety of your loved ones by having this alarm installed in your home.

The Element of Surprise is on Your Side

These type of alarms don’t leave physical clues to their existence the way wired home alarms do. There won’t be any wires to cut and disconnect. Using them can fool criminals into thinking they have the upper hand when, in fact, the authorities are already on their way to your home. When criminals have a false sense of security, they are more likely to take their time and avoid any rash action that might harm you and your loved ones.

Easy to Operate

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to be a rocket genius to operate a wireless home alarm system. Control may or may not be secured with a password, depending on your preferences. Remote operation is also allowed; all you need is reliable Internet connection and proper network configuration. There are no rules on what it can and can’t monitor. It’s up to you to determine where you want to put up CCTV cameras and which doors, windows, and other possible points of entry should have alarms installed.

Multiple Levels of Defense Action

Wireless home alarms can perform different levels of defensive action and again, it all depends on what you want to achieve. Floodlights can switch on automatically if motion sensors in your backyard or garage are triggered. Your barking dog alarm can also be activated at the same time as an added deterrent. If you have a line alarm system connected with your wireless home alarm, your phone can be configured to dial a preset number and play a pre-recorded message to ask for help even when you’re not around.

Home Alarms Promoting Home Security

Nothing to be alarmed about, since it has been such a wonderful day.  Little do you know, as you are on your way home, that it is all going to change in a hearbeat.

You should have installed a home alarm when you were thinking about it.  As a matter of fact, you looked at a home alarm kit when you were shopping today.  Maybe later.  Now it may be too late.

Arriving home, pulling into your driveway and it seems something is out of kilter.  An odd feeling.  Feelings cannot lie.  Approaching your door, you notice the lock and door handle have been jimmied and your door is slightly ajar.  OhmyGod.  No.

Your heart seems like it is up in your throat, beating so hard you can hear it slam against your eardrums.    The queasiness in your gut practically brings you to your knees.  Your vision is going in and out of focus.  Your head starts spinning and you cannot decide what to do…go in the house or leave and call the police.

Life as you knew it a minute ago is upside down.  Confused.  Terrified.  Invaded.  Violated.  As your senses slowly come back, you wonder how this could have happened to you and not somebody else.  That is the way it usually occurs.  Thank God the kids were not home.

This has been a scenario we imagine has happened to many homeowners in the past and is probably happening to somebody as you read this article.

A burglary occurs every 14.7 seconds according to studies…and a larceny/theft, about every 4.5 seconds.  In this current economy the crime rates always go up.  Perhaps it could get even worse.  No sense in taking a chance.

Wireless Home Alarm System: Many Options to Choose

A wireless home alarm system can be your final solution for protecting your house from intruders. With so many alarm systems to choose from, it becomes difficult to decide which is most suitable for your needs. However, a closer examination of their respective features and prices can help you decide the best among them.

A wireless home alarm system is usually chosen because of its flexibility in installation. Since you don’t need make any arrangement for fixing the wires, it can be set up in any part of your home. Wireless also means that thieves will not have the option of simply cutting the wires to your alarm system to disable it and gain access to your house. The absence of any wires also lends the system a neat and unobtrusive look.

Types of Wireless Home Alarm System

A wireless home alarm system is the most technologically sophisticated of all alarm systems. They are equipped with a keypad and control panel for remotely controlling the system from a distance of up to 200 feet. The absence of wires also allows the alarm system to be discreetly placed in locations that allow greater coverage of your house and its entry points.

When the alarm is set off by an intruder, an automatic signal is to the monitoring stations. These monitoring stations operate round the clock and are equipped with instantaneous communication lines to the police. The monitoring agents call the local police station when they see any alarm system go off. The local police then dispatch a unit deal with the situation.
