Although the police is always a 911-call away, sometimes the mere act of calling can be impossible. Ensure the safety of your loved ones by having this alarm installed in your home.

The Element of Surprise is on Your Side

These type of alarms don’t leave physical clues to their existence the way wired home alarms do. There won’t be any wires to cut and disconnect. Using them can fool criminals into thinking they have the upper hand when, in fact, the authorities are already on their way to your home. When criminals have a false sense of security, they are more likely to take their time and avoid any rash action that might harm you and your loved ones.

Easy to Operate

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to be a rocket genius to operate a wireless home alarm system. Control may or may not be secured with a password, depending on your preferences. Remote operation is also allowed; all you need is reliable Internet connection and proper network configuration. There are no rules on what it can and can’t monitor. It’s up to you to determine where you want to put up CCTV cameras and which doors, windows, and other possible points of entry should have alarms installed.

Multiple Levels of Defense Action

Wireless home alarms can perform different levels of defensive action and again, it all depends on what you want to achieve. Floodlights can switch on automatically if motion sensors in your backyard or garage are triggered. Your barking dog alarm can also be activated at the same time as an added deterrent. If you have a line alarm system connected with your wireless home alarm, your phone can be configured to dial a preset number and play a pre-recorded message to ask for help even when you’re not around.

Affordable and Flexible

Wireless home alarms are not as expensive most people think. They can even help you a better price with insurance and mortgage. Also, they come with a variety of features so it’s up to you if you want to use a basic or advanced system to secure your home.

How Wireless Home Alarms Work

Wireless home alarm systems have different features, but they basically work the same way. When triggered, the alarm goes off. You can configure it to make the alarm only known to you or you can have the whole neighborhood hear it. Some models also allow you to have your wireless home alarm connected to the police department; anyone who triggers your system has virtually called 911 for you.

Nothing to be alarmed about, since it has been such a wonderful day. Little do you know, as you are on your way home, that it is all going to change in a hearbeat.

You should have installed a home alarm when you were thinking about it. As a matter of fact, you looked at a home alarm kit when you were shopping today. Maybe later. Now it may be too late.

Arriving home, pulling into your driveway and it seems something is out of kilter. An odd feeling. Feelings cannot lie. Approaching your door, you notice the lock and door handle have been jimmied and your door is slightly ajar. OhmyGod. No.

Your heart seems like it is up in your throat, beating so hard you can hear it slam against your eardrums. The queasiness in your gut practically brings you to your knees. Your vision is going in and out of focus. Your head starts spinning and you cannot decide what to do…go in the house or leave and call the police.

Life as you knew it a minute ago is upside down. Confused. Terrified. Invaded. Violated. As your senses slowly come back, you wonder how this could have happened to you and not somebody else. That is the way it usually occurs. Thank God the kids were not home.

This has been a scenario we imagine has happened to many homeowners in the past and is probably happening to somebody as you read this article.

A burglary occurs every 14.7 seconds according to studies…and a larceny/theft, about every 4.5 seconds. In this current economy the crime rates always go up. Perhaps it could get even worse. No sense in taking a chance.

In response to an earlier statement…NO, it is NOT too late to take precautions by installing a home alarm or protective device on your property to prevent this happening to you…again.

Security is a thought that enters the mind of everyone occasionally…a thought that is overcome by other things, and soon forgotten. Homeowners seem not to bother with security issues until something happens. Hey, if it ain’t broken, why fix it. Hopefully this article gives a perspective of the importance of security and the protection of your property and your loved ones.

Each of us wants to have a secured home. We always want our family to be safe and away from danger. Intruders and thieves are everywhere and ready to strike at any moment. Just consider this, you don’t stay to your home everyday and you have a lot of commitments, but it is important for you to make sure your home is secure. Using a home security system, will make you feel comfortable in knowing your property is protected and safe. Different kinds of crime that has arisen internally is cause for concern in every modern household. But can we stop them?

Compare to past years, intruders and thieves have become wiser, smarter and more skilled. If you think that a single lock to your door will keep you and your family safe, then you better think twice. It is still best to have an equipment with you for your protection. If you are one of many individuals living in an apartment, then you are more are risk of being robbed. Consider home alarms to make your house more secure and safer.

General Electric or GE home alarms security system provides flexible equipment packages so that you can customize a security system that meets your specific needs. The home alarms has the ability to give audible voice instructions that assures your system is operating properly. By just simply pushing the “Status” button, you can be notified of an open door or window, low battery and more. The internal siren will then activate immediately to let an unwanted intruder know they have selected the wrong home.

The Peacekeeper comes with entry or an exit delays at the doors you selected. You can also put these same doors you select, and you can also put these same doors and windows on instant alert with the push of a single button. The system will, at your request, act as a door chime. Should your child try to slip out a door unattended, the system can be programmed to page you.

GE home alarms has the system has a pager feature. Should your child not return from school at the proper time and turn off the system, the system can be programmed to page you. It also allows you to input additional user codes for your baby-sitter, housekeeper, neighbor and relatives. With GE home alarms, your family can feel the real safety that you deserve. Sure that intruders and thieves have no place in your home.

Home security is one of the top concerns of families across the United States. No matter how busy, family safety is always of top for Americans. Keeping the home secure should be important to anyone who values the things they’ve worked hard and your safety. Yes we have our law enforcement officials who gives us protection, but let us consider that our safety does not rely to them still. It is much easier to take the necessary steps to protect your home instead of trying to rely to our law enforcement officials.
